High-quality materials are used to manufacture the products.

The formats of the trunk mats for the trunk floor are carefully crafted by hand to fit perfectly, the decorative seams are incorporated, the rear side protection is adjusted and attached, and the edging is sewn.

Imitation Leather Care Instructions

Use a clean cloth and lukewarm water; for heavier soiling use a soft brush; for additional care you can use artificial leather Protector.

ATTENTION: do not use greasy products!

In accordance with Section 312g (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB), goods may only be returned if they are as good as new, unused, unchanged and without damage or signs of use.

Custom-made and personalized items that are manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs, in particular personalized goods, are excluded from the right of return.

Please note the following special conditions that apply to personalized items that were made according to your specifications or otherwise individually manufactured for you using options such as inscriptions or designs (e.g. engravings, monograms, embroidery, embossing). Atelier M73 Fahrzeugveredelung is not obliged to accept a return or offer an exchange for such personalized products and special orders. Even if these ordered items are not satisfactory (within the scope of deviations), they must be paid for in full by the buyer; there is no statutory right of exchange here.

The costs for the return shipment are borne by the consumer according to §357 para. 5 BGB.

The trunk mat (80cm x 50cm) from my Atelier M73 is the perfect addition to your trunk!

It offers protection for the large area of the trunk floor and is very easy to wash off. The large recess in the SLK trunk is used as a storage area by most SLK drivers. Picnic bags for excursions, boxes for small purchases and utensils for fan meetings are often stored here by SLK enthusiasts.

Background to Product Development

The increasing number of unsightly looks on the trunk floor was my inspiration for this elegant trunk mat.

I myself have also had some leakage in the trunk, the old mat from the manufacturer had become increasingly fluffy, so some time ago I designed this mat for the SLK R171.

I am more than thrilled with what Melanie has achieved.
I was looking for a new headliner for my SLK R170 because the fabric had come loose and was hanging down quite a bit.

After a short search, I came across Melanie’s website, which on the one hand looked very appealing and on the other hand offers the possibility of incorporating your own individual wishes.

After the hydraulic cylinder in my SLK also started leaking and oiled the entire roof lining, a replacement was needed. Unfortunately, this part is no longer available from Mercedes, and the used parts on the internet are either very oily or dirty.

Then I came across Atelier M73 during my search. This company manufactures the headliner from GRP and then obtains it according to customer requirements. I opted for the original gray and what can I say? It looks great. The workmanship is flawless – TOP craftsmanship.

The telephone contact with Ms. Schwarzer was also very pleasant – great advice.
I will definitely recommend Atelier M73 to others.

After the headliner on my SLK disintegrated, I decided to get a new one.
After a long search on the Internet, I came across Atelier M73.

Here, a completely new basic element made of GRP was beautifully covered. The craftsmanship is perfect and the sky looks beautiful.

Ms. Schwarzer is super nice and helpful and made it possible for the new headliner to be delivered to me in good time before a planned vacation. The installation was easy and the piece fits perfectly.
